    @Daniel ..

    It is not quite the same, if I understand. ‘sesion restore ‘will reopen all conenctions that were open when SQLyog closed last time. But you may have more ‘stored connections’ (available from file .. new connection). If you have lost some of those due to a crash, you may contact us at support@webyog.com, if you need help.

    @Rob ..

    Thanks for your support! This is also something that I personally would like to see, but I am not sure that everybody here agree that this is important. – we have discussed briefly but have postponed the discussion till automatic session restore is completed (we are currently working on adding Query Builder and Schema Desisnger tabs to session restore) I imagine an option (from file menu, probably) to ‘save sesson’ and ‘open session’. Like this you could have one or more (for you) ‘canonical sessions’ (sets of connections and queries) that you can return to at any time.

    Great feature!

    handy to save some memory by closing apps.

    I never liked to restart my pc because of many queries open.
    Now this is no issue anymore.

    Keep up the good work guys!

    I do not understand what you mean by “disable session restore without the GUI”.

    Anyway this blog is not a proper place to ask support. We have our Forums for this. You are welcome to post here. You may also mail to support@webyog.com. In any case, please elaborate.

    This function sucks, please refer mysql workbench modification. You certainly did not manage too many connections and experience in a variety of database terminal network environment, if there is, certainly will not want to restore full session functions.
